I’d like everyone to join me in taking a nice long slow deep breath…

Close your eyes and breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth…

INHAAAAAALLLLLE…

And Exhale…

And one more… in and out…

Breathing is something so fundamental to life and so powerful, yet it’s happens…

Maybe it’s your gaze

Those beautiful pools of blue wonder

Maybe it’s your voice

Soft in the night next to me

Maybe it’s how you hold me

Maybe it’s how you read my mind

And hold the keys

To laughter, the sound of love

Perhaps a connection beyond

What we can see, hear, and touch

Our streams of energy

Entangling in the cosmos

And landing here on this Earth

It’s nothing to measure

Infinite in its bounds

In the planets, the moons

And the suns that shine

The stars speaking tongues

A billion lifetimes away

Love is undeniable

Inexplicable

And a gift from the Divine

To share together as One

Despite our duality

Or the different paths

On which we tread

We venture aligned

Weaving, diverging

Bending time

Hearts entwined

Always coming back home

To our place

In each other’s arms.

We were out for a morning walk one day — just me and the dogs, which is typically a very mindful exercise for me. I use this time to connect with the day and experience gratitude for the gifts of life. It had rained the evening before, and the road…

They’re supposed to be tools to help us humans get jobs done. Instead our cell phones have turned into insidious trojan horses that command our waking world and disable our ability to be present.

Redesigning your mind with meditation.

For anyone who knows me, they’ve heard the pitch and it’s usually met with a smirk and an eye-roll. …
